Raw Recipe: Cream o' Buckwheat

My favorite breakfast. Yes, that's how good it is. I first saw a similar version on The Renegade Health Show, and then adapted it. It's simple, quick, and delicious.

Cream o' Buckwheat ~ Serves 1-2

Ingredients:
1/2c Sprouted Buckwheat (or soaked for a few hours)
1/3c Filtered Water
2 Boysenberries
2 Bananas

Method:
Rinse Buckwheat and try to get as much of that 'slime stuff' off as possible.

Blend everything, and enjoy :D

  1. Thank you for the recipe! This is so easy! I have some sprouted buckwheat left over from making Rejuvelac so I'm definitely trying it this morning :D.

    And just out of curiosity, what kind of blender do you have? Do you have one of those fancy blendtec/vitamix ones? Your cheesecake looks so smooth and a food processor just doesn't get it to that kind of consistency.

  2. I don't have a blendtec or vitamix. I have a standard brand called Goldair (I don't know if you have that where you live). I usually use the food processor for big things, then once it's mixed I'll put it in the coffee grinder which gets things smoother. :)
